I grew up in an entrepreneurial American family on the coast of North Carolina, USA. From my first job at age 10 in Capt. Bill’s, our family’s waterfront restaurant, to a (very) hot summer of roofing after uni, I understand the value of hard work and enterprise.
When I first moved to London, I designed presentations for companies including American Express Bank. Then I headed to sunny Miami as Creative Director of Honeymoon magazine. After transitioning to editorial, I returned to London in 1999 to be a Features Editor at Hearst in Soho. I founded a boutique branding agency, working with entrepreneurs and ambitious start-ups. I worked as Head of Copy/Creative Lead at Gousto (the best recipe box company), and I’ve presented branding and marketing workshops at The Business Show.
Today, I work directly with luxury brands and as a trusted freelance copywriter for design and communications agencies, working on creative campaigns and comms for global brands. I focus on luxury brands and on sustainability across all sectors.
